Description rbalada 2005-07-28 17:53:08 UTC
We have SCP/SSH managed download space mapped to http://www.netbeans.org/download/

We cannot recursively upload data to this space since yesterday. Please fix it ASAP.

scp -rpqv jstudio_ent upload@cvs.netbeans.org:.
Executing: program /usr/bin/ssh host cvs.netbeans.org, user upload, command scp
-v -r -p -t .
'scp -v -r -p -t .' -- You are not authorized to do that.

Guess : is this related to yesterday's maintenance outage (application of a
patch) ? ie did something not come back up after a reboot ?
Comment 2 Unknown 2005-07-28 18:14:55 UTC
Quite possible. Looking into this now..
Comment 3 rbalada 2005-07-28 18:32:41 UTC
We had exactly the same issue after last sourcecast upgrade in March.

See Issue 56170, resp. PCN 35440. It looks like our SCP related one-off has been
reverted with the yesterday's patch.
Comment 4 Unknown 2005-07-28 18:43:06 UTC
I am quite sure, that's exactly what happened. It's a easy fix if that is the
case and should be done to-day itself. However, I will make sure that this
change gets checked into the instance-set for netbeans going forward. So that
any patch upgrades should not cause regression of this behaviour.
Comment 5 Unknown 2005-07-28 18:43:49 UTC
Internal ticket created to resolve this.
Comment 6 Unknown 2005-07-28 18:48:31 UTC
I noticed that you marked the priority as P1. I do understand that this is a
very critical issue for you and I did escalate the matter internally to get it
resolved. However, the better approach would be to open a P2 ticket and then
call the support hotline to expidite/escalate the situation. For now I will
leave the priority as it is.

Thanks

Aniruddha,

this issue seriously affects work of several teams within Sun. We cannot manage
our content, including product release and update downloads.
Comment 8 Unknown 2005-07-28 20:35:03 UTC
It should be working now. Please verify.
Comment 9 rbalada 2005-07-28 20:43:55 UTC
Verified, thank you for quick response.
