Description Jan Palka 2000-04-05 19:34:53 UTC
It would be very nice if there was some sort of visual indication in the Explorer view of source files that were newer than (or did not have) corresponding class files.
Kawa, for example, displays the file icon in red if the source failed to compile, and green if the .class file is newer than the .java file, or if the .class file does not exist at all.
I believe (it`s been a few years) that Visual Studio also has this feature. I find it extremely useful.

Implemented for dev-140 build.
The indicator presence depends on user option (Project -> Settings -> Java
sources); if enabled, classes that need to be compiled are badged with compiler
button-like icon.
