Description Lukas Hasik 2005-05-04 09:51:57 UTC
nb41-rc2 + mobility pack rc2, jdk1.5.0_02

-sometimes when I add a new platform it can happend that it doesn't appear in
Java Platform Manager
-I'm adding new j2me platform
-steps are obvious 'Add Platform...', choose dir, wizard recognize the platform,
'Finish' and when you are back in Java Platform Manager the platform doesn't
appear in the list.
-close and reopen of Java Platform Manager helps
-it confuses users that then want add the same platform second time and receive
'Platform with given name is already installed' message
Comment 1 Jesse Glick 2005-05-04 19:18:19 UTC
And you're positive it's not a problem in the J2ME platform type provider?
Comment 2 Tomas Zezula 2005-05-05 09:20:50 UTC
Does not happen with j2se platform.
Seems a problem of J2ME platform.
Check that the platform is created under atomic action.
Comment 3 Adam Sotona 2005-05-06 09:14:09 UTC
yes, this part is similar to j2se PlatformConvertor :)

BTW: I am not able to reproduce it.
