If I expand the "CM Fields" node of the logical
view of an ejb module project and quit the IDE,
when I restart, the "Local Methods" node is
expanded and fields one is not.

In latest builds everything is collapsed after IDE restart.

Then shouldn't this become an enhancement request to expand something?  The
entire project is collapsed and I think it could be improved...

Reopening as an enhancement to preserve some expansion b/w sessions.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
