e-mail from user: I've just installed nb4.1_ea2 + Sun App Server 8. Everything is fine, except that I can't use the app server admin console as I don't know what the login is supposed to be. I've tried all the obvious things, but without luck. Is there a way I can find out what the login is?
Petr please could you enlighten me what exactly is UN/PW good for. Or in other words what is exact sentence I should present in Summary panel. Is "Default Username/Password for Application Server administrator is admin/adminadmin." good enough?
The admin account is needed for login to web admin console and NB uses this account for communication with app server. For instance, it's used during deployment modules, list modules and registering resources. Your proposed sentence is enough.
Fixed in main trunk. Info about default Username/Password for AS administrator is added to summary panel. Message is:<p><b>Default Username/Password</b> for Application Server administrator is: admin/adminadmin.</p> First part is in bold font to highlight this info in Summary panel. Issue has been verified with latest bundle build 200504072207 under JDS Release 3 and JDK 1.5.0_02
