Can not reproduce in Linux, I'll check it on Windows...
It seems like this can not be reproduced any more even on Windows.
Now I reproduced it on local cvs server type. Also there with statuses. See attached picture status_after_add_and_commit.

Happens aggain in NB200503221900. (cvs1.11.17)
Not really reproducible, scheduling for 4.2.
For NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200507061800) this happens too. But it's hard to find exact scenario, how to reproduce it. 1. Use empty user dir. 2. Initialize local repository. 3. Use Global CVS checkout for registering versioned directory against the local repository. 4. Create in it new java application project. 5. Switch to "Files" view, on the project root perform "CVS | Add" (check both "Proceed with commit", "Add All folder contents recursively") The output of "Add" command contains empty lines.
This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX.
