I have tried hard to reproduce the problem but failed.
From looking at the source code, I don't see anything suspicious as well.
The test failed once on one machine and never again.
Was there a tachyon hit or what? (currentTimeMillis() returning
nonmonotonic values)

In the unlikely case it fails again, please reopen, I can try to add
more logging...
