As an example, issue 52199 had 6 votes. It was marked as duplicate of 49636 which had only 1 vote. 49636 should have 7 votes. Issue http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=26513 states that Collabnet started to fix this, but backed out. Can we ask them to fix just the duplicates and deal with the umbrella issues separately?
They haven't exactly backed out, just postponed ... :-/ Collab ?
A recent, far more extreme example of this is issue http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=28971 which has 21 votes. It was marked as a duplicate of http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=35661, which only has 7 votes. Combined they would be the second highest issue. However, a query now only shows it to be a relatively low priority request. It must be extremely difficult for someone to decide the best use of scarce resources, with so extreme information hiding going on. Thought the major upgrade the NetBeans site went through would allow CollabNet to address this problem. Any updates?
6 months and no comment at all from Collab ... support, can you pls respond?
Jack, The requested ability is one that CN is tracking as something to put into Project Tracker when they implement voting in it. As you probably saw in the latest roadmap from CN, regarding IZ: It is currently in maintenance only mode CollabNet is only addressing critical defects Project Tracker will be the replacement
Did latest major upgrade include "Project Tracker"? Has this issue been fixed?
No. Project tracker was not enabled in the latest upgrade as per the requirement by NB and i am closing this as duplicate of issue 26513 as the same issue is been followed up there. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 26513 ***
We recently moved out from Collabnet's infrastructure
