Description gwwsoftware 2004-11-16 14:20:04 UTC
This issue is related to issue 47713 (I think
that is the number). I frequently expand and
close the tree view for the file system and at
least two to three times a week this results in
an inadvertant move of a file or an entire
directory/package.

This happens to several engineers that work for
me so it is not isolated to my configuration. I
have been using Netbeans for several years now
and this started when the drag and drop
capability was added. Please fix this so that I
do not have to use an inferior IDE. This bug can
result in significant loss of productivity.

Nothing to do with filesystems.

If DnD bothers you, disable it using
-J-Dnetbeans.dnd.enabled=false

You start unwanted DnD using doubleclick?
