Would be very useful if the Threads Timeline
display was able to be saved to external PNG

If the currently visible part of the threads timeline is to be saved, 
it can be done via screen capture.

If the entire timeline at current zoom factor is to be saed, it could 
result in a huge PNG file.

Jon, can you please elaborate more on how you would use this 
functionality so that we can better assess how/whether to implement 
it?

I was hoping for saving a huge PNG file :)

Then its up to the user what they want to do with it....

I guess just giving the save ability (and not print) would be enough,
then they can use whatever tool they would want to cut/scale/whatever
to it.

"Save Current View" feature already implemented in 6.0 - creates .png file, 
currently allows to save just visible area for threads timeline and telemetry 
graphs.
