The package builds without problems but I get a
NullPointerException when I click on the run button.

The same problem does NOT occur when using a
version of the IDE without the upgrades for
representing class dependencies (downloaded this
morning).

These exceptions are caused by bugs that are in beta 2 release. These
bugs are now fixed. Please upgrade to the latest q-build to get rid of
them.
