It would be very helpful if I could filter the 
contents of member list by typing few 
characters. Combo list whould have to be changes 
to combo with edit. I'll post a screenshot with 
sample from other IDE.

Possibly can be closed by implementing issue 35620. (Navigator module)

The NV is no longer a part of netbeans. See issue #53602.
