Often when I start debugging the new Session shows
up in the Sessions window but never leaves the
"Starting" state. The output window says
"Listening on .." and some port.

Finishing the session and trying again often works.

I can not reproduce this behaviour.
Can you attach your log file?

Most probably a duplicate of Issue #49778. Reopen if the problem 
appears again.

I reproduced the error on build 200411150946 on machine qa-xp-s3 
(Hanzi, if you wish to test on the machine, contact me). On the 
machine it happens quite often, some 50% of debugger starts ended in 
this state. Attaching thread dump.

Not reproducable, probably fixed in a recent build.

Verified ... and Closing all issues resolved into NetBeans 6.7 and earlier.
