Description _ tboudreau 2004-09-22 22:15:30 UTC
(not sure if this issue belongs here or in javacore)

The new shutdown dialog does something quite annoying -
typically I click the close button on the main window and
immediately switch to some other application.

Just after I switch to the other application, the main window
jumps back to the front. This is quite irritating - doubly so on
the mac, since the dialog also makes the NetBeans icon in the
dock jump up and down (same meaning as a blinking taskbar
button on windows).

I can't imagine any reason why either a non-modal dialog or a
JFrame wouldn't work just as well for this.

Pavle, please look at it or reassign.

I tried to make dialog non-modal, but the content of window wasn't updated then.

After retouche merge, progress is no longer in the build. Closing as FIXED.
