Description Patrick Keegan 2004-09-15 14:55:16 UTC
If you have the Enable Synchronization property
on, you are prompted to synchronize files that are
affected by an updated interface. This is good.

However, the manual Tools | Synchronize action
does not work in this manner (see issue 49091).

Since Enable Synchronization is now off by
default, it appears to some users that the
synchronize functionality has been reduced.
Marking as a DEFECT since this is a UI regression IMO.

Issue 49091 has been fixed - (manual) Synchronize action is disabled
for interfaces.

I think, this issue is rather enhancement than defect now. The action
could not be invoked manually for interfaces in the previous releases.
The only change is that Synchronization is not enabled by default.
