Enhancement Request This basically an Usability Issue Wizards and Property sheets ars frequently using file system locations. There is a case, to use relative paths in these settings, in order to be able to move arround projects more easily. (Netbeans documentation itself mandates to put the nbproject directory under source code control!) In all these cases, it would be a help, if it was obvious, what is considered as 'root'. The simplest aproach would simply show the root location somewhere in the dialog. A sensible solution might also start the file choosing dialog from this root location, if the field hasn't a value yet. (the file chooser should always start from the given location, if there is one, that exists in the file system. Sadly, this seems not allways to be the case) An elaborate approach might even show the resulting absolute position, e.g. in the status bar, when clicking or pointing into the field, or as a note.
I think this is something Hrebejk was talking 'bout some time ago, passing.
