Java Home = /space/jdks/jdk1.5.0/jre System Locale; Encod. = en_US (nb); UTF-8 Home Dir; Current Dir = /home/dm103276; /space/netbeans/4.0/netbeans-4.0/bin IDE Install; User Dir = /space/netbeans/4.0/netbeans-4.0/platform4; /home/dm103276/.netbeans/dev ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I found when creating new Connection within IDE, that if I enter "wrong" (nonexisting host, etc...) value into txt field"Database URL:" And then try to connect (of course I've got some error that host doesn't exist, etc...) Correct this value and try to connect again. PRevious value is remembered and the new one is not taken in a account :-( It's not serrious 'cause on another attempt the typed value of "Database URL" is used
