Description David Simonek 2004-06-16 16:15:22 UTC
I feel that there are two issues here:

1) Keyboard manipulation is currently assigned to
Ctrl+F10, then arrows. IMHO better is shortcut
similar to Alt+arrows, which moves between upper
tabs (documents). Key idea is that switching
between documents and switching between views in
multi-view documents are similar tasks and so they
should have similar shorcuts. I know that Ctrl+F10
is meant to be similar like regular toolbar, but
IMHO view switchers are not regular toolbar
buttons, their behaviour is more close to tabs in
tabbed pane.

2) Look of view switchers is too hidden in the
toolbar, I had problems (others in office too) to
find switcher buttons. I recommend more visual
separation from the rest, which is regular toolbar.

I guess my complaint is now obsoleted by 50331.
