Current dev build. I have the "VCS Output" window in sliding mode and currently slid in. 1. Double-clicking the window title bar does not maximize it as it does for normal windows. It does nothing. 2. Pressing Shift-Escape produces a bizarre result; seems to maximize the list of sliding window buttons, instead of the selected window. See screenshot.

Worse, after restoring the editor window etc., it is impossible to get back to Output and VCS Output (the two items slid out to the south), by KB shortcut or Window menu. Have to shut down and restart before I can see these windows again. Should either make Maximize work sanely on sliding windows, or disable it.
fixed on thu, issuezilla not working for me at that time.. disabled miximize gestures on sliding windows. all windows behave sane now.
verified in [nb_dev](200407271830) but for now there is no Maximize action in popup menu over toggle button - issue 45941
