The NB CVS server (cvs.netbeans.org) suddenly stop
working a few minutes ago. I am able to ping it,
but not checkout etc.

A security vulnerability was discovered in CVS.  A patch is currently
being worked on will be applied a.s.a.p.

You may have already seen notification - if not:

We (I!) apologize for the stoppage in your workflow, but the nature
of the necessitates shutting down access.  

We want to assure you that every resource available is being applied
to get back to normal operation.

It looks like the CVS server seems to be back online, so we could
assume the patch has been applied.

Please confirm patch application and RESOLVE this issue.
