The usecases during review of issue 40771 were
found really highlevel and for a new commer it was
hard too map them to actual code usage. 

For each usecase there should be the actual code
snippet shows how to achievee that. Maybe some
highlevel usecases could be split into smaller
ones, so their coverage over the API will increase.

I am not sure that actual code snippets were mentioned in the review
meeting ;-). I think we talked about more documentation and about
directing the user of API to the actual classes that she needs to
implement, etc. I checked in an improvement for this, let me know if
this is enough and if not reopen the issue, please.
