On Chinese and Japanese Linux, when the IDE hangs
up, kill the process and restart it. A warning
window pops up, but the message is not localized.

Yarda, is the message localizable?  If so, please close this bug. 
L10N bugs should be tracked elsewhere

The message is read from 
core/boostrap/src/org/netbeans/Bundle.properties
with keys "MSG_AlreadyRunning" and "MSG_AlreadyRunningTitle". I see no
reason why it could not be localized. Reassigning to translatedfiles.

It has been fixed and translated at NetBeans 4.1 release. The translated
messages is now displayed for both Chinese and Japanese.
