Description Jesse Glick 1999-10-04 19:57:02 UTC
It is somewhat strange UI, I think, to not have an "up" button on Explorer windows (that would set the root context of the window to the parent of the current root context, if the current root conte
xt has a parent). Especially now that you can press Alt-0 while in the Editor, expecting to get an Explorer showing the current class, but instead getting just a node for the current method--it would
be nice to be able to press Up a couple of times to get up to the class or source node from there. (Otherwise you need to page up to the top of the file and press Alt-0 again, which is annoying.)

Still possible.
Comment 2 David Simonek 2002-07-26 12:51:35 UTC
Yes, agreed, "Up" functionality would be useful. Paasing to UI group
to decide where it should stay and how it should look like.

Reassigning to new module owner Tomas Holy.
Comment 4 t_h 2008-10-20 11:28:56 UTC
It is enough to press Left arrow.
Comment 5 Jesse Glick 2008-11-07 02:35:28 UTC
You misunderstand. The request was to move up the _root context_, not the selection.

Anyway we no longer have random explorer windows showing arbitrary root nodes, so this is long obsolete.
