Description nsydenham 2004-04-06 14:34:00 UTC
Sometimes you want to create a quick macro to do
some text manipulation but are unlikely to want to
use it again. In this instance, assigning a key
shortcut is overkill. It would be better if there
was a button on the editor toolbar to execute the
last recorded macro.

Also, merge the two macro start/stop buttons into
one. Also, add a macro submenu to the Edit menu.

Have some simple shortcuts like CTRL+SHIFT+R to start/stop recording the macro
and CTRL+SHIFT+P to play the macro. No need to save the macro - just a temporary
macro, unsaved.
