I was using user tasks successfully on NB 3.5.1.
Then I installed NB 3.6dev and copied the
tasklist.ics to the NB 3.6dev userdir. 
Now I cannot see UTF-8 characters. The are
replaced with squares.

There was a bug in 3.5.1 version. The files were written not in utf8.
It is corrected now. You have to reenter the tasks.
