Description jmreigosa 2004-01-18 15:48:54 UTC
I've been always working with Forte, Sun One
and/or NetBeans, but recently I had to start
working with Eclipse, a free IDE from
http://www.eclipse.org, and I've found that it
has some interesting features that significantly
eases the development process, most of it
referring to code completion and wizards.
I want to make a little list of these features
and propose it as new features or enhancements
for a next release of the NetBeans platform,
when I have some time (these are bad days for
me, to get free time). In the meantime, may I
suggest to you to cast an eye over this IDE? I
think it can suggest some interesting ideas.

Your ideas are welcomed but such a general issue will never be
resolved. If you have a particular feature to propose file it
separately into proper issuezilla component.

Of course we keep our eyes open. You can read more about upcoming
features and enhancements in
http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/36/index.html

Thanks for your interest.
