In a current dev build (true for several days at
least), I created a new Java source. Opens in the
editor. In the Explorer, I delete it. It is
deleted, and editor tab closes, but get an exception.

I've just forwarded already existing issue to editor folks.
It is the code folding infrastructure which causes it.
