Steps to reproduce:
- run IDE
- open some window
- try drag window over the document area
-> whole IDE window blinks many times

I don't experience it on linux. Is it only on solaris or windows too?

It seems like awt.nativeDoubleBuffering is set to true by default on
Solaris.

I have filed an issue against JDk to BugTraq system:
