Description _ gtzabari 2003-10-03 00:57:40 UTC
dev build 200310010100

When I kill an application by right clicking on
it in the EXECUTION window and selecting
TERMINATE, it stops executing but its name remains
in the execution window.
Comment 1 _ gtzabari 2003-10-03 00:58:14 UTC
I'm using Sun JDK 1.4.2_01 under WinXP
Comment 2 _ gtzabari 2003-10-03 01:58:23 UTC
I should also point out this bug occurs randomly; about 50% of the
time. I can provide a testcase (although it's not minimal) which spews
out lots of output to the screen. I kill it because it tends to take a
long while to complete and as a result this bug occurs.
Comment 3 David Konecny 2003-11-10 10:45:21 UTC
Please attach the testcase. Thanx.
Comment 4 _ gtzabari 2003-11-10 11:17:51 UTC
Can no longer reproduce. Please close as WORKSFORME if you can't
reproduce on your end.
Comment 5 David Konecny 2003-11-10 14:11:31 UTC
Feel free to reopen.
Comment 6 _ gtzabari 2003-11-12 00:53:12 UTC
Reopening. I'm able to reproduce this in dev build 200311061900.
Unfortunately I have no concrete repro steps. This seems to occur
randomly, especially if you run the same application over and over
again and terminate it every time. Eventually it will simply "stick"
in the output window.

ide.log reveals nothing interesting either; just a whole bunch of
"using deprecated API" notices.

Comment 8 Jesse Glick 2004-03-16 17:11:50 UTC
Needs to be reevaluated w.r.t. Ant.
Comment 9 Jesse Glick 2004-08-17 04:07:43 UTC
Not aware of such a bug in 4.0; reopen as needed.
