Description Peter Zavadsky 2003-09-18 14:03:14 UTC
It is necessary to provide container kind of
TopComponent which could contain other
TopComponents and manage the activated nodes,
opening states of itself and inner TopComponent
according to the window system rules.
There is also needed to define such rules, like
whether the contained TopComponent should be
listed between TopComponents in modes, or wheter
just the Container TopComponent is enough etc.

*** Issue 34622 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
Comment 2 Jesse Glick 2004-05-17 04:44:06 UTC
Probably this issue is obsolete?
Comment 3 Milos Kleint 2004-09-29 14:25:21 UTC
I think this is party obsolete and partly implemented by the multiview
APIs.
Comment 4 David Simonek 2005-05-05 17:20:57 UTC
Yes, Milos is right, closing as wontfix. Further ideas should go into multi-view
enhancements.
