1. open ide
2. create new|java3d|scene
3. name doesnt matter

after selecting finish on the wizard 
an "Unexpected Exception" error occurs.
the complete text of the error is as follows:
A java.lang.ClassNotFoundException exception has 
occurred. Please report this at 
http://www.netbeans.org/devhome/issues.html, 
including a copy of your ide log file as an 
attachment.
the error then continues to list the location of 
the ide.log file.
