ManifestProvider.createManifest should have a
parameter with the configuration for which to
create the manifest. It could be required by
subclasses that want to inspect the contents or
the state of the project in general.

Convertor on EditableManifestProvider should be
published so that it can be overriden by anybody
overriding EditableManifestProvider.
