Description schwarcz 2003-07-03 02:29:49 UTC
This is new with 3.5. Most of the time when I try to
change the position of any of the windows splitters I can't
change the split. I grap the splitter with the mouse and
drag it to the desired position. However it doesn't change
tot he new position.

This is driving me totally nuts. I've stuck with NB for
several versions and enudred all the performance issues.
But if I can change the splitters, I can't view the info I
need. I can lessen the impact by making windows like the
exploer window a separate free floating window, but AI
shouldn't have to do this.

This is is trivial to reproduce (at least on my system).
Create a new project, mount any file system, open a file in
the editor. Try to move the splitter between the explorer
and editor window.

Good luck.

Duplicate of issue #34579. It seems it does not happen on JDK 1.4.2.
