Description _ gtzabari 2003-06-25 20:28:35 UTC
dev build 200306230100

When I drag and drop the splitter, sometimes it
works but most of the time it ignores my command
and does not resize. Specifically:

- I click on the splitter and begin dragging
- I see the blank outline representing the
splitter I am dragging
- I drop the splitter
- The splitter remains in its original position

Marek,
increasing priority since it's a highly visible UI bug.
(if you disagree, lower it down with reasons, pls)

Several questions:
1. (by Carl on nbdev) Are thre any switches to, for example, turn on
additional logging or tracing to help track down the bug?
2. Is this bug _possibly_ be resolved by ongoing WinSys rewrite?

Is this a duplicate of issue #34427?
Seems that problem appears when running the IDE with j2sdk1.4.1_03 but
not with j2sdk1.4.1_01.
Comment 3 _ gtzabari 2003-06-26 07:28:56 UTC
Looks like a duplicate to me. Also, I'd like to confirm that I was
running JDK 1.4.1_03 when I noticed this bug. I don't recall seeing it
under JDK 1.4.1_02 (then again, I might have upgraded to a newer build
of Netbeans on the same day)
Comment 4 _ mihmax 2003-06-26 10:13:56 UTC
I see this bug _rarely_ occuring on jdk1.4.1_01, but still occuring on
WinXP SP1 + hotfixes, JDK 1.4.1_01.

Yes, it's a dup of issue 34427, closing as a dup
