Solaris 9, jdk1.4.2 rc #22, NEvada RC3 ================================ it's far too annoying thet ediator complains about reladed file. I guess it's more general problem and there is no relation beatween this and CVS modules (especialy JavaCVS). But using CVS support in ide is a "good tool" to reproduce this bug. Reproduction: =========== 1. Have a mounted JavaCVS FS. 2. Have some [up-to-date] file opened in the editor 3. Modify this file, and save it. 4. invoke popup menu on this file, and choose cvs->update... (the 3 dots are neccessary to invoke an input dilaog for update commad, thus hold CTRL or ALT while you choosing menu item) 5. There check up the check box: "Get clean copy" and press OK button 6. usualy I get the some Excetion complaining about impossibility to lead/find file. I'm attaching just one which occures me now

BTW: throwing the E. isn't a reason for P2, but it's happening quite often AND SOMETIMES, the EDITOR's instance in TAB (with this file) is unuasable... can't get anywhere your carret cursor and anywhere start to type. The others Editor's TABs are still usable and you could continue your work. But I dislake I must close the TAB and open file again, and if you've had opened more files and was used to have them in some order, now your file is opened somewhere else.... see you what I mean, don't you?
This is duplicate of #33040 Eliminating of the issue requires broader ongoing changes in org.openide.text package. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 33040 ***
