Hi,
I tested with the little JEP.java and there the keyboard responds to  {, }, [ and ] which is
[alt+8] and so on.
But in the source editor apears nothing. Other functions with alt-key like [alt+e] for 
edit-menu are OK.

Similar problem has already occured on linux, please see the issue
#19893. Setting target milestone to 4.0
