Description pswisnov 2003-03-26 18:45:19 UTC
Description:

The clearcase dialogs' textedits don't have focus when opened.
This is a usability problem since the user can't start typing,
the textedit must be clicked or tab key typed to enable it.

Evaluation:
I don't know if this is possible with the VCS generic input descriptor. I've
asked the lead on this. If its not supported this can't be fixed in this release.

A comment.

At Martin's request I've transferred this from bugtraq.

Thanks Peter. Since this is usability problem, I'm rising this as P3,
usability problems should be addressed in the next release.

It should be possible to fix this for all profiles in general in
VariableInputDialog. Thus no need for adding focus into input
descriptors.

From the words above the "tab key typed" is considered as a workaround.
