[Janne] Perhaps better solution might be to have the new created package be in expanded status as that is something you normally want but you might not want pkg to expand on paste.

[IAN] It is reasonable to keep the package collapsed, the other possibility is to expand it and select the newly pasted item

[IAN] It seems like the second approach - i.e. expanding the folder and selecting the newly pasted item is more standard and useful
