When I open the Setup wizard from the main menu and keep the mouse in the position where the dialog comes up (so that the cursor has been bellow the dialog in a Z-order), the cursor stays in the progress cursor state (above the main window) until the dialog is dismissed. It happens only when I keep the cursor at the right place, what is in case of the setup wizard always. My configuration is linux box (RH8.0, Metacity window manager), JDK 1.4.1
Reassign to Dafe who implemented cursors.
On Windows everything is ok. I'll need some time to configure Linux so that I can find what's going on.
Dafe, it's 100% reproducible in [nb_dev](20030227), [jdk1.4.2](b16) on Sol 5.8, steps to reproduce: - run IDE - open New From Tamplate from menu File | new - move mouse over dialog -> the right cursor is visible - move mouse over other parts IDE -> semmi-bussy cursor is visible
re-evaluate please ...
I'm not able to reproduce it and I can't debug on Solaris either. What should I do? Close this? :-)
I can't reproduce it in [nb_dev](200406161800), [jdk1.5.0](b51)
