Description bclangia 2003-02-12 03:41:28 UTC
Hi
I need use Rational Rose to generate XMI files (I'll
import them to MDR).
I installed the plug-in of Unisys to generate this files
(using the "Export Metamodel to MOF" option on the tools
menu), but I didn't get import this XMI files to MDR.

My teacher said that I must read the "Rose profile for
MOF" tutorial to follow some rules.
The problem is: I did understand nothing about this
tutorial, and I don't'know how I must modificate my XMI
files to get import them to MDR?
Could somebody explain me step by step?
Or, Do you have XMI files built in Ratonal Rose that I
could use it to import to MDR?

I only need to do some tests about this process, to know
about the errors...
Thanks

Please read the Rose profile for MOF (it is distributed with the
plug-in. Also you can download a Rose version of Simple XML model
which comes with our Simple XML Module example. The model is linked
from Metamodels Catalog webpage
(http://mdr.netbeans.org/metamodels.html#simplexml10).
