When running the installation wizard, once at the "Choose 
where to install" window, installer freezes up when next 
is clicked.  Actions taken in an attempt to circumvent the 
situation, include....
- Using default settings(without netbeans 3.4.1 folder 
created).
- Using default settings(with netbeans 3.4.1 folder 
created).
- Using different folder.

Other observations...
- 99% CPU time allocated by instaler after clicking next 
untill process is killed.

Please, let me know what version of jdk do you use exactly.

I was having the exact same issue on Windows2000 SP3 
running JDK 1.4.0 until I updated my JDK to 1.4.0_03.

Signig as WONTFIX because of comment above.
