Description jportway 2003-01-30 18:55:46 UTC
I sintalled the 3.4.1 final after using 3.4.1 Dev
release 2 for a while. When first booted my
projects were kind of messed up, and many java
releated options showed up in the options window
as being "unknown option". When I checked the
modules setting in the options window all the Java
options were turned off. I installed from scratch
twice and had the same behaviour.
For a first time user of netbeans this would be a
complete killer, since the IDE appears to be
completely broken, and won't even open a java
source file properly, and they would have
absolutely no idea how to fix it.

I assume that Tomas is responsible for this issue, so reassigning.

Java modules are definitely not turned off. It works for me without problems. Can you start NetBeans with new NetBeans user directory? Please, check ide.log file for exceptions and other unusual messages. Thanks. BTW: There is no OSX installer.
