Description Patrick Keegan 2003-01-29 16:27:10 UTC
This is an umbrella issue for all bugs relating to the returning of improper help IDs when F1 is
pressed on a component that extends a component in the base NetBeans product.

When filing issues for specific instances of help ID problems, please put this issue number in
the Issue Blocks field of the new report. Also, the new issues should be filed against the
module where the problem is perceived to originate. This could be either in the base NetBeans
module (perhaps the code is written in a way that does not allow extending modules to use
their own help IDs) or in the extending module itself (the help ID is not properly assigned).

Info on assigning help IDs can be found here:
http://www.netbeans.org/download/dev/javadoc/JavaHelpAPI/index.html

If there is missing info in this doc, please mention it here, and I can file a new issue for that.

Switching this to a task, since this is an umbrella issue
and there are currently no open issues that depend on this
issue.
