Open Options. System->Modules->add actions has two
submenus:
Module ... and Module from NBM file... 
On my linux platform Add->Module show hidden
directories (starts with dot) but Add->Module from
NBM file.. doesn't show hidden directories. Policy
for directories should be the same.

It works for me in recent builds.
