java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: A node selection 
cannot contain nodes (System Settings) not underneath the 
root (Options).
	at 
org.openide.explorer.ExplorerManager.setSelectedNodes
(ExplorerManager.java:149)

instructs me to report bug and attach ide.log

I suspect I had a deleted file or directory open in 
the "Explorer" window, but I don't rightly know.  Also, in 
the immediately previous session I'd changed "Options" 
from "Traditional SDI" to "MDI" mode.  

After this error NB 3.4 didn't start.  Then I restarted NB 
3.4 and got no error.
