Description bronius 2017-12-11 15:31:23 UTC
How to reproduce:

1. Open the same document in multiple tabs/panes
2. Scroll both documents to different locations, position cursor in those respective locations
3. Copy text in in one tab and past it. OR hit Cmd-Z to Undo previous edit.

Outcome:
See the document viewport in the other tab jump to that same cursor location

Expected behavior:
Text should be pasted in first document viewport but other view(s) should remain unchanged except for any text on the screen or if the edit may have nudged the line numbering a bit.

Use case:
When making code edits where it is helpful to visually reference another section of the same code document, it is cumbersome to see the reference document's scroll position jump to that of the document being edited. That defeats the purpose of multiple views of the same document in this use case.
