I downloaded java jdk and installed it, i downloaded netbeans and installed it.  I open up netbeans and click on new project and nothing happens.  I click on File>New Project and nothing happens.  What am i doing wrong??

same case happened to me! I downloaded java jdk ver 9 and netbeans v8 and installed it. I opened netbeans, trying to create new project both from shortcut and file, nothing came up.. I'm using MacOS btw.
