this is the screen I get.

For school, I'm learning Java EE. Today we started dong things with Java Databases. I needed to install the ojdbc7.jar. The path to the file is: /Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans 8.2.app/Contents/Resources/NetBeans/ide/modules/ext. When I went to Services->Databases->(right click) new connection->Oracle Thin->Add I couldn't get to the file because it is under the application. Netbeans doesn't allow me to add a custom path or let me view the package contents, so I can't get to the file that's needed for school. This is very irritating and now I'm running behind the class. Is there a fix for this? I couldn't find anything on this.

What is your problem? In the screenshot the driver seems to be correctly selected and so there is no problem? If the driver is placed in another directory, use the directory choose to switch to that directory.

Reply that came via email:

The problem I'm having is: when I try to connect to the ojdbc7 file that's on the screenshot my program won't work. I need to get into the content directory that's underneath netbeans 8.2 (the program icon) I can't get into the content directory but my classmates using windows can see the contents sub directory. I need to connect to a specific place for it to work properly and be compatible.
