When I clone a repo, with a project type which is not supported by netbeans, I can open the source inside the favorites. For this git is completely possible with the folder. I can show changes, pull, push, commit etc. but I don't know on which branch I am, as I can see it inside the Projects and Files window. And I don't see the number of incoming and outgoing changes. Please add it to the favorites window as well.
