This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
When a test fails the Test results window shows a stack trace but lines are often truncated, ending with eg: "... (34 chars omitted)". The tooltip for the line is truncated as well. This forces user to go to the Output window, click on the link to open the test result in the browser, switch to the browser window, click on the link to the test result, to obtain the rest of the line (typically junit output, such as actual as opposed to expected result). Expected: display stack trace in test results without truncating lines, or at least provide full line as a tooltip.
Is there update about this issue? I have the same problem, Is there a way to configure the test results window?
This issue is also present in Test Results window for TestNG.
This seems to be the result of the fix for bug 172772, but according to that bug, it should only happen with GTK look & feel.
The behaviour reported above occurs with all available look and feel: Metal, Nimbus, CDE/Motif, GTK+ and Darcula.
